Elite Imaging of Swansea

"On 01/09/24 got there around 9:25am and left around 10:30am. Receptionist/front desk staff were very friendly and let me know it would be about an hour wait. Bree the x-ray staff member was friendly. I don’t understand the low ratings, but my experience here was fine. They only do x-rays from 9:30am-11:30am and 1:00pm-3:30pm. They are walk-in only. No appointments. Got this information from calling them and staff member who answered the phone was friendly as well."

"2 weeks ago we came here at 12:00. Was told they don’t start doing imagines again until 1:00 and to come back. Walk in the door at 1:00 to a waiting room full of people already checked in. Was told it would be a 45 minute wait. Really we waited 1.5 hours. Dr put rush on my xray and it took a day and half to get ready and sent to my Doctor even after continues calls from the Doctors office and myself checking on status. Today I come in again for an updated xray. I get here at 11:30. I’m told by the same young front desk clerk that they don’t take patients until 1:00. I ask “Really It’s not even noon yet.” I also express my frustrations from the last time. She says I can come back around 12:40 and they can check me in. I think well I’m coming early. I walk back in these doors at 12:30 and there are 2 people in front of me already and already checked in and that it’s going to be a 45 min wait!! Why did she tell me 12:40??? So here I sit again. One person doing imaging now here. My family has been coming here for years and this place has gone down hill. Time to ask our Doctor to send us elsewhere!"

"Had an appointment for a procedure. Got there 5 minutes early. Was done within 20 minutes. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Would recommend to everyone."

"My wife and I went to elite imaging in Swansea for chest xrays. We had Dr. Orders and my wife left work early so we could get there by 5pm, THE CLOSING TIME SHOWN ON THEIR WEBSITE! We arrived at 4pm, and there was NO ONE at the desk. After a minute, a girl walked out of the back and asked what we were there for. My wife said we were there for chest xrays and the girl proceeded to tell her that they shut down all the machines at 4pm and we would have to come back another day because the machines were already turned off for the day. My wife asked her what time their facility was open and she said the procedures were only available certain times. On their website it says NOTHING about times for x-rays, it simply says they're open 8a-5p, Monday thru Friday, no appointments necessary! NO WHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE DOES IT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT ONLY BEING AVAILABLE CERTAIN TIMES, FOR XRAYS! My wife explained she had left work early specifically for this test because we both have had coughing issues for days and our Dr is concerned because we're seniors with health issues. The girl told her that she would write down their actual available times and told her to come back another time. It felt like she DIDN'T CARE how much of an inconvenience this was. Instead of arguing with someone who OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT CARE, we left. I told my wife, we will NEVER use this business again and I highly suggest NO ONE use this place! If I could give them negative stars, I would! My suggestion is, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY LIKE THIS THAT TREATS CUSTOMERS, PARTICULARLY SENIORS WITH HEALTH ISSUES, THIS POORLY!"

"Was here for a CT scan, my appointment was at 3:00pm and I was out by 3:20. Very quick and friendly, the lady doing my procedure was very nice and tried to make sure I was at ease and comfortable. ."
