"Maplewood is horrid. They have built many stores, shops and restaurants along Manchester that creates congestion and lots of trash. Speaking of which, there is trash all along the lowes and Walmart and they refuse to clean it up. The neighborhood looks like garbage. The citizens throw trash all up and down laclede station road and I mean big bags of trash, it’s disgusting. The police are still the most racist and have proudly held that title for decades. Nothing has improved just the housing prices have gone up. That maplewood Metrolink was a bad idea. Nothing but crime, mentally ill homeless and it seems like someone is always falling out and having a stroke at that Metrolink station. Next to it is the dog park and children park were the homeless hang out at all day and night. All the homeless know that they can’t hang out in Brentwood or Kirkwood but they can make their home in maplewood. It’s sad. They don’t call it hoosierville for nothing"

"Maplewood, or as I like to call it, Pot Holes Galore. City shut down a section of Hanley Road for months bottlenecking traffic & increasing my drive time to work which is 4 miles away in Clayton by 20 minutes. When they finished, it is arguably worse than when they started!"
