"Dr. Foster did not listen my condition. He prescribed a medication I cannot take it . I sent a message 2 weeks ago and he never replied. I asked him for a second appointment and he was not happy to set up that appointment . I found a new Dr and I'll cancel all my appointments with him . I asked for a test and he said cannot send the test because insurance is not going to cover until he orders other test prior . Told him in the hospital I already did the other test, and he ordered the test again waisting my time and my money . Advised him the other Dr told me to ask him for that specific test and he got upset . After 4 months I m still in pain . I went to the emergency room , then another Dr and all of them said go to your primary Dr for follow up and no results ."
"He left my lab results on read for weeks. I finally called the office and his staff just relayed messages back and forth for the multitude of questions I had which took days instead resolving everything in a five minute phone call. He straight up said "Can we hurry this up? I have other things to do." during an appointment. In that appointment he also tried to dissuade me that severe foot swelling was not an issue to be concerned about. He's never even vaguely on time and does NOT know how to use the tele-health video software. After an hour he gave up and just called me on the phone. A phlebotomist saw I had him as my pcp and we commiserated over him being terrible. The guy is not a serious physician and I have moved on to a new doctor that isn't a unpleasant person. I don't understand why Mercy continues employing him."
"Dr. Foster is fine, but staff is unprofessional!! Because of the staff, I have found a new primary doctor. I called the office for 3 days in a row trying to get an answer from the Dr., and all the staff say is "we've sent the message to him." This has never happened before, as Dr. has always gotten back to me quickly. The woman that I talked to the 3rd time I called laughed on the phone at my frustration "We can only send the messages, sweetheart." Not a great feeling to be laughed at when you're sick and have been trying to get a hold of your Dr. for the past 3 days!!"
"Unfortunately this was NOT a good experience. He came highly recommended by a family member. We are new in town. I could go back to my old doc but he wasn’t taking new patients so my fiancé needed a doc and we went with the referral. We got there 20 mins early and the staff- though nice- couldn’t find the appointment but they remembered talking to him when he booked it. The docs bedside manner was fair. He was so busy ordering tests that he did t really answer my fiancé’s questions. He called in his prescriptions but several were left off and the clerks were useless- had to call them FOUR times and still the medication wasn’t right. He called back and asked for the doctor to call him back as he wanted to address what happened. The assistant gave him the run around because she said she didn’t need another bad review. Too late for that. Wish I had her name but the all sucked and of course the doctor didn’t call back- no use in going back there - now looking for another physician. If I could give -5 stars I would."
"We had a really good first experience at this office. The nurse was really sweet and professional. Dr. Foster exceeded my expectations for a male doctor -- he was very attentive, listened carefully, and explained things clearly and thoroughly. He was able to help my husband with an issue our previous doctor basically ignored. We definitely trust him with our care."
