"If I could leave less than one star I would. My mother had a massive stroke in February 2019. Having no primary care provider Genesis gave us a referral to Ann’s office. At first she seemed ok, a little confused by our situation because she had never dealt with my mother so that was understood. Mom was in therapy but quit and is convinced she was left w/no deficits from the stroke even though many assessments have proven otherwise. Then mom stopped taking her meds(one of which was for swelling of the brain) and Ann asked my mom if she was “eating her fruits and vegetables”. I’m sorry, what? Please, can anyone tell me what good fruits and vegetables will do when her blood pressure has made her brain swell and bleed so badly that it explodes and just starts trickling out of her ears? (Slightly dramatic? Perhaps) Ann then decides to clear mom with no restrictions to go back to work full time. Not once even suggesting maybe having an evaluation first to see where her skill set is at and if it’s even appropriate for her to go back to work. (She nearly drove right in to oncoming traffic because she no longer pays attention to traffic signals, she can not name more than 2 streets on a map of the area she has spent 59 years in, and her decision making skills, ability to process information, ability to understand or even consider the consequences of her decision making, are all shot to hell). Now, I understand Ann doesn’t know my mom from a stranger on the street and has spent in total about 20 minutes with her but shouldn’t that be even more reason A PROFESSIONAL would suggest or seek some sort of opinion from another PROFESSIONAL who can evaluate these things??? Ann is not only putting the life of my mother in danger but she also is putting the lives of others at risk. My mom can’t direct you to the bathroom while standing in the bathroom."
