"We were at the TBK Sports Complex across the street for a Labor Day Soccer Tournament. We are from out of town, St. Louis Area. Very early into our daughters first game, she fell and injured her wrist and elbow. We came across the street to this urgent care. Our daughter was in a great deal of pain, the staff was very friendly and let us know that they did not have an X-ray tech on site until 2pm, but could get us into the system and send us to another location 5 min away. No big deal to us as it was a Holiday weekend and we would at least get the X-rays she was needing. After getting checked in and all our information, they let us know that their supervisor who was at the other facility was driving to take our daughters X-rays so we would not have to leave. We were so thankful for this and she was absolutely wonderful and sympathetic to my daughters injuries. After forearm, wrist, and elbow X-rays were performed, a Radiologist who was not on site read the images quickly and came back with no visible fracture of the wrist and inconclusive on the elbow. The NP who was on duty at the Urgent Care was not satisfied with those answers. We are so grateful for her trusting her intuition and for treating our daughter as if she did indeed have a wrist and elbow fracture. She advised us to seek a second opinion back home in STL, which we planned to do so anyway. The NP splinted our daughters arm and elbow wonderfully and put our daughter at ease after not taking kindly to knowing her weekend of playing soccer was done. After visiting our Orthopedic Dr back home and additional imaging being done, it was confirmed that she did indeed have both a wrist and elbow fracture. We can’t thank the staff at this facility enough for the care and compassion they showed our daughter in a time of disparity. But we are especially thankful to the NP who trusted her instincts and knew there was more going on with my daughters injuries than what was read on the X-rays that day. Thank you so much! "Conic claims to be open 365 days a year for testing from 8am-8pm. We drove 15 miles out of our way to get a test on Monday at 5pm and the clinic was closed with no explanation, no note of it on their website and no voicemail note about the closure either. Definitely don’t recommend this tests my site!"
