"Now that Dr Reece has left the practice there isn’t a single provider I would trust with my children. The reception staff and nurses have been so rude and impatient. The practice has really gone down hill."
"Dr. Battle and her assistant Liz are amazing people. All 4 of my children see them and have been for about 2 years. Dr. Battle is so extremely thorough with her check ups. You won’t find a better pediatric team around. If you are looking for a Doctor for your children, please consider checking them out. You won’t be let down."
"Dr. Reece and Dr. Highbaugh-Battle are absolutely terrific. They are so thorough and treat my children like their own. Super professional and yet sympathetic also. I've have been to other pediatricians in the area and this is by far the best around. The nurses are awesome and the front desk staff are amazing - so rare to find!"
"Dr. Battle is amazing. From the moment she entered the room. She is a breath of fresh air. So personable, so knowledgeable, and so helpful. She didn’t make me feel crazy for asking any of the questions I had. She’s not here to just prescribe medications. She asks questions and gives advice. I trust her with the well-being of my children. I would recommend her to anyone."
"I met with the doctor before the birth of my now third child and decided this would good office for my soon to be three kids. We were new to the area so a meeting and talking with doctor I though would give me a good feel on what to expect. The office requires you have all of your medical records sent to them before scheduling a appointment. I turned in the paper work with the offices I could remember as we move a lot. I was called two weeks after turning in the paperwork and told in a rude manner that the dates I had filled out for record requests were wrong and I would have to fill out everything again. Frustrated it took that long to tell me a small error I still obliged and went in and filled out new paperwork. While in the office I made the same error again on one of my kids paperwork. Heather advised me of this but just changed the dates herself. I tell myself I am frustrated with that experience due my pregnancy hormones and try to let it go... My baby was born with congenital condition that none of the pediatricians as the hospital would give any lip service to. With a quick google search I knew that to be inaccurate so I decided to not fuss about it there but rather take her to the pediatrician office I had picked out. I brought her into the office (I was unable to see the doctor that I had met with and originally wanted to see as she had no openings currently) to be seen and was told she just had birth marks and not the worry. Frustrated I was brushed off again. I began my own research into the different syndromes and conditions. I tried to schedule my baby a appointment with a specialist myself in Atlanta but was told I would need a referral from her pediatrician office. I called and left a frustrated message with the doctor I met with medical assistant with a request for a referral. This was done before 12pm. I was called back after 5pm ( when the office had closed) and told I needed to schedule a appointment. Frustrated I asked why it had taken so long to be called back to be told to ‘schedule an appointment’ when I can’t even do that now due to the front office being closed. I was told ‘I should be glad I got a phone call back’.... I definitely left the young lady name Sam with some choice words. My daughter developed spots on her leg which drew concern for me with her condition for possible blood clots. I scheduled a sick appointment (again not with her normal doctor as she again was not available). Not sure who I saw ( as I don’t remember her name) but she was very heavy headed with my daughter ( my 3 month old) where I found myself taking my screaming baby from her. She was more interested with her congenital condition and wanted to take pictures and measurements with the ruse “for her file” as though my baby was a specimen and not a child. I might add those pictures and measurements would do nothing to help my daughter. The spots on my daughter’s legs were addressed with a parade of other doctors coming into look at my daughter without even asking my permission. The spots on my baby’s leg no one seem to know and advised they must be a freckle. I left feeling as though that experience was my fault as I should have spoken up more. Really it should not have happen. My last experience was at my daughter’s 4 month well check. We arrived late but was met at the front desk by Heather the ‘professional’. I was told ‘ you were suppose to be here at 3:30 for your 4pm appointment. You are 30 minutes late.’ This is a case of not what you say but how you say it. Heather was completely insulted by our tardiness (despite having a 4 month that poop, pees, and naps on a nine adult schedule) and her tone and words definitely let me know it. My oldest daughter even asked me ‘why did she have to be so rude to you?’. We arrived at 4pm and I could clearly see the medical assistant waiting to take our file but I as told we would have to reschedule 30-45 minutes later that day.... That was enough for me I canceled all appointments going forward. I don’t have one person that I dislike enough to recommend this office to."
