"Hannibal doesn't support it. We've had teams come and go. I guess we're more prone to complain about having nothing to do than to actually do something. Because of this, it has fallen apart. The yearly flooding hasn't helped."
"Great experience watching Hannibal Hoots Prospect League baseball. 1938 WPA era facility updated to modern standards. There is not a bad seat in the place. The Prospect League is college level, wood bat summer baseball close up. Lots of fun."
"I was excited to celebrate and share in the Hannibal Hoots’ inception, so much so that I purchased 52 dollars worth of merchandise on May 7th. Even though I was charged for my Hannibal Hoots ball cap and t-shirt on May 7th (with an email stating the said fan gear was mailed out), I have yet to receive my merchandise. Subsequently, I reached out on May 27th, requesting an explanation, and I have yet to receive any feedback per June 2nd. After playing on Clemens Field as a collegiate baseball player and having family in Hannibal who have followed the Cavemen and now the Hoots, it’s dishearting to see yet another failed attempt at this franchise’s ability to safeguard fans’ support, especially when fans are willing to monetarily support this local team’s efforts."
"Grew up playing softball on this field back in the 90's. It's survived tremendous floods and continuous to be a place where games are played."
"Had fun with the wife throwing a ball around."
