"Was so nice. I loved it. Able to imagine such a much better simpler time, walked down to the water too, wish there were steam boats running"
"The Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum is a must see for a trip to Hannibal. This is not just one house, but a complex of houses that you will visit. There is a recreation of "Huckleberry's" house, or at least the real-life person he was based on. You will also visit the Drug Store the family lived at. If you visit the drug store don't leave out a visit to the second floor! This is a trip worthy of a history buff or someone into literature. I gave it four stars because the tour was completely self-guided. The home of the greatest storyteller in America should have a guided tour option."
"Passing By Hannibal We Had To Stop At The Mark Twain Boyhood Home In The Small Town Of Hannibal, Missouri. Nice And Well Maintained Ground’s, With So Much Information, Very Interesting Place To Visit. We Really Enjoyed Our Stop. Just Wish To Had More Time To Explore This Little Town. We Will Next Time. Highly Recommended."
"Very nicely done with lots of information spread out over several houses. And the fact that the museum is set or framed in a downtown that is a step back in time, makes it all the better!"
"Hannibal, where the house is located, is a very neat town. Not only can you visit his home, but there are 3 other places to see with so much history centered around him. You will learn so much from your visit. I highly recommend visiting. You should plan on spending 4 to 5 hours ."
