"You will be homeless dealing with them. I APPLIED dec 20th for rental assistance for my January rent because we are new here and used all savings and haven't found employment.Our apt filed for eviction Jan 9th and excepted partial payments and gave us til Jan 21st to have rent.We scraped up the money and General assistance said we dnt qualify now.What about February rent?? Thank God Tanf was approved for help until we find employment. No help whatsoever.Seems like a race issue to me. HOW do you apply for rental assistance and get denied help if yhe rent wasn't paid by today there would be no assistance needed because we would have been evicted.Somebosy explain that logic!!"
