"I recently moved to the area And my riding mower was damaged during the move, since gas was drained the carburetor wasn't working right, the owner picked up the mower, had it for almost a month and brought it back,his receipt claim the float needle was stuck and he cleaned the carburetor, it wasn't fixed and he mentioned he sells mowers, my neighbor offered to look at it and found the carburetor that the shop claimed to clean was filthy, there was a gasket within it that was dry rotted and not sitting in the seal so that makes sense why it was leaking gas but they couldn't have cleaned the carburetor and not seen it,the float was very old and the float needle was in horrible shape, I took the parts I needed with me up there to buy a replacement and they told me they couldn't find the parts but they could get me a whole new carburetor for $200, then I asked them about the work they supposedly did and the owner came out trying to cover his a**, he told me he's sure they changed that dry rotted gasket they just put it in wrong, the same gasket they couldn't find to sell me, they never touched the carburetor he's a liar, he just figured because I was a woman looking for help I wouldn't be able to check his work and I'd come back to him to buy a new mower because mines still not right, I probably will buy a new mower from Lowes but I don't do business with liars"
