"Scam alert! This is not the parking lot for the City Museum. They give the impression that they are to scam people who have already prepaid for the real museum parking lot but there is no way to undo the mistake of driving into it because it locks you in until you pay. Pretty unethical."
"Good parking, felt safe. A bit expensive but what I would expect for public parking in a downtown area."
"Scam. It's labelled "City Museum parking" so we pulled up to the gate, thinking this was the official lot. After we saw the prices and realized it wasn't, we told the attendant we did not want to park here. He told us we could pull through and he would let us out. We did this and he walked away. After flagging him down, he told us we were in the lot for more than zero seconds (it was maybe 30 seconds) and we had to pay $10 to leave. I told him we never had an intention of parking and simply wanted to turn around, and he told me he would not open the gate until we paid. I asked who we could talk to about a refund, and he instructed to speak with a "Jeff" inside the museum. We went to the museum and were told no such person worked there. The museum staff said the lot was a scam and they are using the City Museum name without permission."
"Paid $40 to park for the day while we went to the City Museum. Other lots closer to the museum were $15. The signage etc makes you think it is the official parking for the museum, but I don't think it is."
"Awesome! As you approach the museum, one would not realize the abandoned looking building is actually the museum. Once you see the entrance it all comes together. The metal welded outdoor park is uniquely crafted into something from another world! Each floor of the museum is unique and there are some many slides to go down but many were closed due to COVID-19. Go and see for yourself, it’s a cool place to see!"
