"Exterior Brick color -> I wish I can give 0 stars for Lombardo homes rating, I didn't expect this kind of poor treatment from lombardo homes. Both sales manager and construction manager didn't do their job well. We selected Elevation E for serengeti plan and paid $20k more just for that elevation , because we thought our home will almost turn in like the way we want with the selected brick color during our design studio appointment. Half way through the construction, they said they don't have that brick anymore. They showed me some color and they told me it's very light color similar to the one we selected, We asked them then we will go with different home plan because we don’t want dark brick exterior and they said we have to loose our 10% deposit and when I raised my doubt saying it might turn the home dark since the brick appears dark compared to the one we selected she said it will look same but when the house is completed, brick color and the complete home is very dark and we are very disappointed the way home looks from exterior. When I questioned about it she said that’s the one we choose. we are very depressed we spent $700k for our first home and that's the outcome we got. Deck -> We spent $25k just for the deck and we choose one specific color during selection. Half way thorough, they said they don’t have that color . At that point, we decided to cancel the deck and she said they already ordered the deck and didn’t’ allow us to cancel it , I don’t understand how can you order the deck and same time how can you say that specific color of the deck got discontinued? They forced us to select one of the options of different color . we spent $25k for deck assuming it comes with the patio and when we asked about it , there is no clear communication whether the deck comes with patio or not, at the end when it’s finished, they told us it won’t come with patio. Cleaning -> Now coming to the interior , we closed our home on nov 17, we didn't move in to our home yet because they didn't clean it . it's so dusty everywhere with workers foot prints and discolored dusty carpet up and down stairs. I have the proof of all the pictures that I took including the deck with dusty footprints everywhere. We are still staying in our apartment and paying apartment rent from nov 17 till now waiting for them to clean our new HOme. No one even cared about cleaning the home before setting the closing date. When I mentioned that to our sales manager, she said they still have some work left to do after our closing date and she said they will ask cleaning department to clean . I checked today (DEC 1) they didn't clean the home yet. Bathroom mirrors -> During our design studio appointment, they said we choose an option to leave master bathroom mirror in the basement. That never happened during our design studi appointment with Stephanie. we told our sales manager there is no such option that stephanie mentioned to us yet they removed master bathroom mirror and placed it in the basement. When I raised about that, they said we choose that option . Clearly they never mentioned about it and who doesn’t want free mirror ? Kitchen cabinets -> We clearly selected glass cabinets in certain places in the kitchen and when I mentioned about it she said they ordered them and they are gonna replace soon but till date they didn’t even fixed it . If I can turn back time, I will never ever go with Lombardo homes to choose our first home. Utterly disappointed and I made a mistake to refer my friends to Lombardo homes and I am not gonna do that anymore. I will just show our home as an example of how Lombardo homes handled it ."
