Welcome to the Pittsview Volunteer Fire Department, proudly serving the community of Pittsview, Alabama! Located at 5741 Pittsview Highway, our dedicated team of volunteer firefighters is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. We provide essential fire protection services and emergency response to keep our community safe.

As an active participant in civic engagement, we also play a role in disseminating important local information. As the parties certify the candidates for the 2024 election cycle, we will post verified certifications for your convenience. You can also find a list of local candidates for the general election and information about the Russell County Self Governance Act, which will be on the 2024 General Election Ballot.

We encourage all residents to participate in the democratic process. Visit the voter registration office in person, by mail, or online to ensure your voice is heard. Remember, the registration cutoff is 15 days prior to the election.

Our community is supported by the dedicated efforts of the Russell County Probate Judge's Office, which handles important life events and legal matters such as adoptions, wills, marriage licenses, and more. The Probate Judge is committed to providing excellent service to all residents of Russell County.
