"Make sure you ask if what they're trying to sign you up for is free. I was there today and was asked if I was a part of the loyalty program. I figured I already had an account but I didn't. So I was asked if I want to sign up and get 10% off today. I said sure why not. Thinking it was free. Turns out it is a monthly subscription for $11.99/month. I should have been more attentive and asked but I also thought if they're wanting to sign you up for something that is a membership that cost, they'd let you know. I do think it's a great store that has a great selection of whatever your interest are. Some of their banpresto figures are pretty expensive but they do have deals for other items and even manga buy one get one 50% off. Overall, a good place to check out but double check if you do want to sign up, that it's free."

"I love this store but the membership scam they are running is ridiculous. The lady on the phone told me they are “coached” into pushing these “10% off coupons” to customers, little to their knowledge they are actually signing up for a membership. You’ll find out a month later when you are charged. You also need the membership ID to cancel, which you won’t have, because it was just a 10% coupon, right? I will not shop here anymore."
