"I have been using Norton Antivirus for over 5 years and have it set up with the auto renew / auto pay from my charge card for each year. This year I got the notice which said the renew was going to be $104.00. This seemed extremely high so I looked up on google what it would cost me from a local store and it stated only $24.99. I called Norton customer service and asked why their auto renew was $79.00 higher than I could buy it from the store. They said “ that’s what we charge for auto renew “. I stated that my price should be at least equal to the store since it’s the same product and they said we can only discount it 50% which would still make it $27.00 higher than the store. Advice if you are on auto renew immediately go in and stop the renew as your getting ripped off for being a loyal customer and buy it locally for only 24.99"
