"Great little store for obsolete technology. Owner is patient and somewhat knowledgeable. Make sure you test EVERYTHING before you spend any money."
"This was not my wife taking the computer to Tech Corner, but me. I was more than satisfied with the great and speedy service I received. I highly recommend this place"
"Now that I have my electronic back there is now way I ever go back there again! He told me it was take 1-2 days. (Took 6) I got no communication throughout those days and when I went in to check on it he gave me and my husband kind of a douchey remark which is absurd. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!"
"Despite Tech Corner's times on both Google and their official website saying they open at 10 AM and close at 7 PM all days except Sunday, I've come in at 4 PM on multiple days to check up on my computer only to to find that the store has closed early with no reason! "Why not call over the phone at a different time," you may ask? I've done that too, but they never call back! It wasn't until I went in and consulted another worker there, that they actually put my name and number in the system! They might be good at fixing computers, but their communication is awful."
"They charged me $200 to replace One piece on a laptop I originally bought for $500 and dropped off my desk. I hadn't had the chance to check on it since getting it back, and just looked at it today. Firstly, the hinge which was broken wasn't even replaced- the only part they replaced was the plastic around the screen, leaving the actual hinge flapping and some electronic bits inside completely unprotected. Second, the laptop was having Zero problem with battery when I gave it to them, and is now claiming that there is no battery present. It will not charge and will not turn on without being plugged in to a charger. It is also now (and was not before) having a problem with screen brightness. It won't turn up/change at all, and adjusting battery saver settings does nothing, which means it doesn't have to do with the apparently absent battery. Overpriced and somehow made my laptop WORSE than when I gave it to them. I now have to buy a whole new laptop, because I'm not going back to pay another $300 for them to ""fix it"". As I was writing this review and trying to take a picture of the "No battery" screen, the hinge broke the rest of the way I assume (a sick cracking noise when I opened it) and the laptop will now not even turn on when plugged into a power source. I'd like to be kind and say "maybe it was this broken when I gave it to them," but I literally turned it on for them (on battery) when I first gave it to them. Not sure what they did, but whatever it was, it was clearly done wrong. Edit: I forgot to mention when I first gave it to them they said they would have it done by the end of the next week, and it took like 2 or 3 weeks to be finished. Since I can't reply to their response, I'd like to re-address/stress: It was not broken beyond working when I gave it to them. They charged me half the price the laptop cost new to repair it. I'm not spending another few hundred bucks here to repair whatever parts are now broken because they didn't do it right the first time- that is the cost of a Brand New Laptop. You'll save more money buying a brand new appliance."
