GATE Gas Station

"Yulee Gate Gas Station 1214 is a great place to feel welcomed coming into the store. Working for them is hell especially in the kitchen. I have been in training with the company for only a month at the Yulee location. The kitchen manager Dawn is not a great person to work with she downs her workers in the kitchen and talks negatively about them. During the month being there Dawn had harassed me yelled me been rude to me for the last 3 weeks being their, because I wouldn’t talk to her only will answer to her with short response do to the fact of being tried of hearing her talk negatively about the the workers in her kitchen. She downed them then schedule we to work with them my second day of training so unprofessional. I was hired full time and was told the only reason they were hired me is because one of their employees was leaving. Once that employee didn’t leave my hrs went from 40 to 32 hours . Since I was the last one hired in the kitchen instead of asking anyone if they wanted to work up front, she volunteered me saying it’s the only way you will get 40hrs be cause you’re an option. The employee finally left and I still didn’t get all my hrs because I don’t have full conversation with her. I come to work and go home. I’m not the only one she harasses. Mark the store manager was very hostile towards me and I never even spoke with he since I been there, he just goes off of what Dawn be telling him. So when I was terminated didn’t want to speak with him about what’s been happening, because I wanted to speak with someone above him Mark address since he is the store manager and I wouldn’t talk to him about the issue I can clock out and don’t return. I told him I was going to call HR and he said go ahead he already they were going to be in his side. They don’t care about you being to yourself do what you have to do and go home . I finally called Brian Cakes where I had to get his number from HR to address the issues on what been going on he didn’t care at all he just agreed with what Mark said about what happened which he don’t even know what happened for real. I guess since Mark and Dawn been there since centuries Brain Cakes was definitely on their side. It’s not what you say to person it’s how you say it . I felt abused, harassed and mistreated. A black female who stands out and stead up from themselves in all good ways . The harassment is horrible form Dawn and the hostile is horrible from Mark. They can’t never say I’m a bad worker that’s why they let me go. Thought things would’ve gotten better since I only been there a mouth that’s why I never reached out to anyone. Enough was enough.The company should know since they don’t care over the phone. Harassment Rudeness And Hostile! Just wanna be heard.!!"

"Your pumps are not accuratw. While back I was at Gates in Yulee. My vehicle has a 16gal tank and I was down to a quarter tank. My vehicle took 19gals. Im looking on the ground wondering where 4gal went."

"Staff is some of the rudest people I've ever seen, like they're doing you a favor to allow you to even be in there. The fountain drinks stay watered down, I've wasted my money here a couple of times on fountain drinks that I've had to throw out. Won't go back"

"Wish I could give it -5 stars. The clerks Jose yells out customers personal Information and belittles you with smart remarks. He told me to get out of HIS store when I asked not to be spoken to that way. The red headed kids in there was just as disgusting. It’s okay, I’m writing a letter now to forward to the appropriate channels. But just a fair warning, don’t support the bigotry! I hear the manager never fixes this issue. By the way, the clerk was a kid name Jose. Thanks Jose, for being such a superstar! You really deserve all the best in the world. :)"
