"My daughter had an appointment for 11:30 am here for extreme stomach cramping, possible fever with chills, vomiting, nausea, dizziness, and a migraine. We decided to come in early at 9:30 am to see if we could be seen earlier. We have been waiting for almost 3 hours. I wouldn't ever suggest walking into one of these, even if your appointment is 2 hours later. Eight people have come and gone since we signed in. Many more have been seen in the meantime. Another patient in the waiting room tried to give his appointment to my daughter after she had been here for 2 1/2 hours crying in the waiting room and they denied him. Hey, but we did get to listen to them sing Happy Birthday to somebody in the back while we were waiting!!! (When we finally got to the back, the first thing they tested for was strep, covid, and the flu - $$$ - all negative... doesn't take a doctor... On the up-side, the lady at the front desk and the physician were great!!"
"Three stars for two reasons. One they sent me packing because they couldn’t find the Covid tests the system said was in their inventory. Two and the only reason it’s not a one star is they told me to go all the way to Jacksonville because they had one. So I called ahead and apparently the head tech there said no I just did inventory Yulee has Covid tests your more than welcome to come here so go ahead back if you wanna save gas. We’ve all see gas prices so I went back and called ahead to make sure we were waiting two hours again. Went in got taken out back and the most unprofessional squabbles you can hear from a closed door possible. Oh it’s not my fault I could reach all the way up there, no I didn’t kick them out I just told them we didn’t have any. Meanwhile I waited for two hours to even get seen just to be told they had none when in reality it was just out of reach. I guess the moral of the story is get a ladder when you can’t see inventory the computer says you have, don’t tell people you ran out because so many people came through when in reality you just can’t see the inventory you actually have and most importantly don’t let your patients actually hear your squabbles. Yes I heard the whole thing yes you did kick me out and try to send me somewhere else yes I call ahead and yes I hope someone got yelled at. I will say tho the PA we had was amazing caring and very very understanding and apologized profusely for everything. I will be coming back but next time use a step ladder."
"Convenient, and great, helpful staff. Doctor and medical assistants knew exactly what to do for my upper respiratory infection. The fee was $175 to see someone, and I started feeling better after a few days of treatment. Definitely recommend this place. Nice, courteous staff"
"I never take the time to leave reviews except when deserved ..and this was BEYOND deserved. Absolutely Terrible!!!! I have been to several Baptist CareSpots throughout my day and have never had an issue. Or with ANY doctor’s office to be quite frank. However, this was this by far the most awful and disgusting experience. Let me preference that I made a 12PM appointment several hours earlier in the day and I had ensured childcare for a few hours around this appointment. I came at 11:50AM to check in, only to be told that I had SEVEN people ahead of me and that it was probably going to be a 2-3 HOUR wait!! I complied because I felt like I had no option given I chose this location based around where my mother lives to watch my children. They told me I could wait in my car and I would receive a call or text when I would be next in line. (given the godly amount of sick people in there coughing and moaning who were also stuck in there for longer then they anticipated !) I explained that I have an infant at home and with the holidays this weekend they were kind enough (or so I thought) for me not to have to sit in the waiting room but in my vehicle instead. Well, after sitting in my car for over THREE hours I never heard anything. Luckily, while waiting in my car I googled nearby walk-in clinics. I happened to stumble upon Amelia Island Urgent care down the road.OMG such a difference! They were so professional and prompt. I did NOT have an appointment with them and they took me as a walk in within 30 min and left with a prescription in hand so I didn’t even have an extra stop to a pharmacy. Moral of the story..RUN from this place and the terrible communication, service and healthcare they provide here! I thought I was going to be trapped but I’m here to tell you- YOU DO have other options in the area and I would pick those any day instead of here! It was clear that they could careless about their patients, or their time ! If they couldn’t of accommodated my appointment they should of called me prior to my arrival! I am also a very understanding to people running behind and only physician in the building- BUT to behind for that many hours is completely unprofessional and so unfair to all those poor patients who planned their day accordingly . Someone in corporate needs to intercept ASAP. From the front desk, to the back of house, and the one doctor that can’t seem to keep up with the volume of the day.. DO BETTER and practice some professional techniques on how to keep a ship sailing even in rough seas…. so despicable."
"Trash. Won’t help you for even the simplest of services. Someone else said front desk was Karen’s and they weren’t lying. If you don’t have insurance, they won’t see you. Cash in hand. Credit cards offered. Nope. So I have to go to the ER for a simple ear infection, limiting resources to others. No surprise it’s run by Baptist. I’m sure they want me to go to their ER and pay triple."
