"When my regular stylist retired 2 years ago, I searched and searched for a replacement. I was at the local quilt shop in St. Marys when I found him. He also shares a love of quilting. I made an appointment and haven't used anyone else, even though I have to drive up from Jacksonville. He is very friendly and outgoing, which reminds me of the way shops were operated back in my youth. He is also very good at cutting hair."

"Fantastic! We are a military family and I work at the corporate level in Jacksonville. Gerry is amazing, up to date on styles and cuts! Nice after a horrific experience that cost me 6 inches of hair at a location that I won’t mention. Not gonna name names but the grasss isn’t at all greener, nor do they know how to properly tone brass . Gerry on the other hand, is a artist. Lovey lowlight technique"

I adore the owner, Garry, and the atmosphere was the same as a family business should be, calm and collected with superb service. 5 stars!!! "Ok. So. My dad was a regular of Garry's for years and we both were familiar with him as I was growing up. Always thought the dude was a tad creepy (felt that way about a lot of people as a kid so it wasn't too unusual) and was always rather annoyed with how he'd spend up to 15 minutes on that dang piano when we're waiting for a cut. So, soon after I got me my job I went to him to get a cut. As he sat me down the very first thing he asked me was how old I was. Was 18 at the time and so I responded accordingly. HIS response? "Legal age". As he was cutting my hair he kept pulling some serious Jared Fogle stuff, asking me where exactly I worked, what I like to drink, inviting me to his house so we could "have some wine". Yeah. Should've got out of there the second he uttered the legal age statement, BUT, I needed a cut and I was already in the chair so...... Plus, it gave me more fuel for this fine review here. But yeah, everybody who says he's creepy have no idea. Makes me wonder exactly how long he wanted me in such a manner. Also makes me wonder what he thought about any other young individuals who happened to be in his chair. At least he probably won't make a pass until they're legal age."
