"From Florida. Was working in Dothan and got stuck there because my alternator. No problems! They replaced it and also towed me there too from the hotel. This was two years ago. It’s covered under warranty and having someone check it out now, one of my batteries I got installed somewhere else was placed in weird and I think cause issues with alternator. I lost my receipt and I just called Jim Whaleys and they’re emailing it so I can still use my warranty. My past experience shows that companies are typically reluctant to issue new receipts for warranties. Paxton happily sent it with great attitude. Thank you!"
"I've spent two or three thousand dollars with this store over the years. They used to be an excellent and trustworthy place for basic service and minor repairs. Last week I took my wife's Murano by to have a tire inspected and patched. It has a slow leak. The car is a 2017 and the tire is a Michelin in excellent condition with a lot of tread left. Without even removing the tire from the vehicle, the guy at the counter informed me that it couldn't be patched because it was more than six years old, and insurance won't allow them to work on tires that old. Instead he offered to sell me not one, but FOUR brand new tires. I thought this was absurd, given how much tread was left on the tires. I asked for a price on a single tire. He said he could sell my a Uniroyal (a step down from Michelin) for $220. I tried not to laugh as I asked for my keys back. I ended up visiting Scott Steven's Tires instead, where they bothered to inspect the tire before passing judgment. In the end they were able to patch it, and when they returned my keys they refused to charge me, saying they don't charge for simple fixes. I was blown away. In the next couple years I'll need new tires for both the Murano and my truck. Guess where I'll be buying? I'll give you a hint. It won't be Jim Whaley. Edit: I just made good on my promise to buy tires from Scott Stevens, purchasing new tires for both my Silverado and my wife's Murano. I also had front end work done on the Silverado. It was $3,000 worth of business in total and I couldn't be happier with the level of service and professionalism at Scott Stevens. I'm now recommending Scott Stevens to all my friends and family."
"So thankful they could fix our tires and not have to buy new. The tired were not very old but have valves stem issues. They saved us almost 300 from having to buy new tires. Definitely recommend going here."
"Best people! Best customer service! My whole family knows to trust the people at Jim Whaley for our automotive needs. We've been using them for years. My dad just moved to Dothan and Ervin was able to help him with a tire repair asap. It made him feel good to know that they did reliable, good work."
"Very nice and honest people and you don’t feel like they are pulling one over in you. Sone of the other tire stores you go in to get a flat fixed and they tell you need brakes or front end aligned. They just try to up sale you. Not Jim Whaley they only repair what needs to be repaired. I really enjoy letting them take care of my trucks."
