"Andrew and his crew at D&Z Painting did a fantastic job painting the exterior of my house over the summer. I needed some repair work (replacing a front fascia board and various shingles, etc.), and he either subcontracted it himself for a reasonable price, or (in the case of a gutter that needed to be replaced) pointed me to a contractor he trusted. D&Z Painting washed my entire house, then meticulously scraped and sanded (by hand) every square inch to prep the surface before priming with an oil-based primer. They repaired loose shingles and caulked holes. They even scraped some moss off my roof for me - stuff that wasn't in the contract! Then they applied two coats of latex paint to all surfaces. Andrew was easy to work with, and did everything in his power to make sure that I was happy. I wanted a very particular color, and he went to some lengths to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. He went above and beyond to make sure every detail of the job was perfect (another example - he gave my vinyl shutters a fresh coat of paint just so they'd look better, when that wasn't in the contract either!). He also took the time every day to talk to me and explain what they were doing. The crew were all hard workers - cheerful and respectful, and very careful to clean up thoroughly every single evening. Andrew was not the least expensive proposal I received for painting my house, but he was definitely the least expensive QUALITY proposal. I would highly recommend him."
