"Ppl with substance abuse problems roam in here now and you have to watch your stuff. Can't trust everyone on staff. Most are excellent. Still has a bathroom and it's overall still ok. As I am writing this a unhoused person just sat down in the patio area. North st just isn't the best place to do much anymore."

"I had previously reviewed this place, giving it 5 stars. However, after a recent negative experience, I am changing that rating to 1 star. Someone apparently had used the bathroom and left the water running. I was asked if I had done it, to which I replied "no, I haven't been in the bathroom". The next time I went in to do laundry, Laurie, one of the attendants there, accused me of being the culprit who left the water running in the bathroom! I've been going in there for years, and never have I been treated that way! I'm never setting my foot in there again!"

"This is a great place to do your laundry. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and they always have a person on-site to assist you if needed. It's easy to get change if you didn't bring enough. You can tell the owner has 30 years of experience. While I didn't use it, they do have a fluff and fold valet laundry service which is $1.00 per pound, except for comforters. They have magazines and books if you want to read while you wait. There are plenty of wheeled baskets and counter space for moving and folding clothes. You can buy detergent and softener from a vending machine if you didn't bring your own. On the other hand, their food/drink vending machine is empty, so bring your own. Parking is metered out front, or free in the back--if there is space. Public transport drops off/picks up nearby."

"The second I walked in I was directed to an open washer by a friendly employee. The machines can take lots of garments. The machine I used cost $2.50 and took around 20 minutes to run a cycle. Everyone there was so kind. You can tell that they work hard and have fun. The area is very safe. I'd feel comfortable leaving my items and heading down the street to get a coffee."
