"Service Exceeded Expectations! I reached out to DiBacco Plumbing after I discovered the compressor for my central air unit would not start. They were one of many plumbing companies I found after performing a google search. There were two things that were key in my decision to hire DiBacco Plumbing, the first was they were local to Lowell, and the second was the content of a response that Ryan DiBacco gave to a customer that wrote a negative review. In his response he indicated that he found the review hurtful, according to his response, he had serviced this customer for a few decades, and there were never any issues with the service he provided. Apparently, the work performed in this particular situation was a little more costly than anticipated, and that seems to have been due to the job being more complicated than expected. The fact that Ryan used the word “hurtful” indicated to me that he cared about his work, reputation and what his customers thought about him. In other words, I didn’t get the feeling that he was the type of professional that participated in price gouging. Therefore, I hired DiBacco Plumbing to find out and resolve my compressor issue, and they did. They also checked out the unit without my having to ask them, which I was glad they did, because that was going to be the next thing I requested even though I just had the unit installed in October of 2023. The HVAC techs that performed the actual installation weren’t 100%, which I discovered after the fact, so I wasn’t totally surprised there was an issue with the compressor. The evaluation of the unit did reveal some overlooked items, so I asked them to proceed with taking care of them; and I’m glad I did. The unit is now up to code and a lot of stress has been removed from my shoulders! My heating and cooling system looks like a brand new system and it’s ready for inspection, this is why I started this review with “Service Exceeded Expectations!” If you are seeking two Plumbing/HVAC professionals with the following attributes • Putting customer satisfaction first. • Having expertise in their field. • Doing more than expected. • Able to communicate effectively. • Follow exceptional guiding principles. Then you want to hire DiBacco Plumbing. Yes, I would hire them again! In fact, because they are local they will be my go to team when I have issues with plumbing, heating and cooling."
"DiBacco Plumbing Heating & Cooling has been doing great work for us for years! They are reliable and reputable, they do terrific work, and they know the "innards" of our house better than anyone. I highly recommend DiBacco!"
"Outstanding service!! Our 20 year old Boiler / Furnace died over a weekend and left us without hot water and heat. They were at our house first thing Monday morning and were unable to get the old system working. The recommendation was to replace the unit. They walked us through the Mass Save process, including the process for obtaining 0% financing ). They shifted their schedule around and had our new Tankless Gas system installed and up and running 2 days later. They came in and took care of the whole removal and installation in a day. The whole process was well managed, with the personal touch that you get from a family run business (not what you'd get from Home Depot or Lowes contractors). I would not hesitate to recommend DiBacco Plumbing to anybody!"
"Ralph DiBacco and his son Mike recently did extensive work at my house involving three jobs. This is a long review which basically says that I am pleased and happy that I chose Ralph’s company and I’m very thankful for their dedication to completing everything in one day. They installed a new 40 gallon Monarch hot water heater tank to replace our leaking tank from a different company. I also agreed to Ralph’s suggestion to install an Atlas whole house water filtration system, because of the town’s historically hard water. He noticed after installing and testing the water filtration system that the water pressure was extremely high, and discovered that the water pressure regulator at our Water Main inlet wasn’t working, so he installed a new one. He said the high water pressure most likely contributed to the deterioration of my previous hot water tank and probably negatively impacted many other fixtures connected to water in my house, which I’ve definitely experienced requiring repairs by other plumbers over the years. Mike also performed the overdue maintenance service for my Lochinvar Knight gas boiler. After final testing, they discovered a failed water pump to one of our heating zones. Fortunately like the new water pressure regulator, there also was another new water pump in the company van, which appeared to be like a fully furnished plumbing supply parts store. I liked that, because in the past, a previous different plumber from another plumbing company said he and the assistant had to stop the work at my house and leave “to go shopping” to buy a part at a plumbing supply store, and of course I was charged couple hundred extra for a $55 part at that time, despite my telling them in advance to the visit that it needed replacing. Anyway, I was impressed that Ralph remembered the small detail I mentioned to him prior, that I wanted to replace the last water PH neutralizer canister connected to the pipe near the boiler with a different canister that has a clear window on it, because I wanted to see how dirty the water was getting over time and know when to change it. I communicated with him via emails during the week after the initial assessment visit to my house, about my concerns and questions about the equipment in his proposal so that I could consider what would be best for my needs and make those decisions before agreeing to everything. I trusted Ralph’s lengthy experience and suggestions, and appreciated his professional input. Even during the week after the work was completed, I emailed additional questions about the equipment and he would respond and explain, which again I appreciated the ease of communication with him. I’m glad with the results of their work and would recommend his company to anyone. A Big Thank You to Ralph & Mike at DiBacco Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Inc.! Claire"
