Reviews
"Beautiful trail for walking or cycling, clean, and very peaceful, my husband cycles, and I walk."
"I dropped off some friends to ride from Esom to Piedmont. Was only there a few minutes. No issues, but it is rather remote, so I can see how there might be some issues with car window smash and grabs as indicated in other posts about this parking lot."
"Nice trailhead at one end of the Silver Comet. Easy access from US 278. There's a trash can, but no bathroom of any sort, so be ware. This makes a good starting point to ride into Alabama on the Chief Ladiga Trail."
"WARNING! My car was vandalized at Esom Hill Trailhead at 7.45am on Dec 23rd 2022. They smashed my windshield and rear window as well as letting two tires down. They didn't steal anything, so it was just vandalism. I suspect it was a warning to outsiders to stay away. I would be very careful about parking here!"
"The scenery on the trail is beautiful from this trailhead. Lots of parking near the trail. Last trailhead in Ga before the start of the Chief Ladiga Trail in Alabama."
