"Richard and his crew of young men did an amazing job helping me move last week. Richard and I had set up the date and time about 3 weeks in advance and he delivered wardrobe and linen boxes to help me get my packing done. Over a long day of hard work, the Team was consistently careful with my property. The guys were polite, responsive to my questions and even suggested a great idea for furniture layout in an oddly shaped room. Now that I've unpacked the boxes, mirrors and framed art, I can say they are the best movers I've ever used over the years and that includes local and large interstate moving companies. The price was definitely fair and I absolutely recommend them, without hesitation. I know you will appreciate their skills, honesty, kindness and solid work ethic."
"Rich, and the boys did an excellent job very professional and courteous. Richard’s 30+ years in the business from the beginning to the end demonstrated his skill. Great Value no shock at the end of the job and no damages. I would happily use Provencher Van Lines again and would absolutely recommend Rich and the Guys to friends and family."
"Richard and his crew are excellent folks to make your crazy moving day relaxing. From the initial meet and greet until the final item is where you like it, they are fully engaged. I have used them three times in the last few years and they are always on-time, polite and professional. They have great attention to detail and we have never had any issues with any item moved. They disassemble, reassemble, package and protect things like large TV's, heavy bed frames, office equipment and home gym equipment. Richard, the owner, is always present and assures the crew remains focused and continually moving. I have recommended this company to many friends and family and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks again guys you made our move from MA to ME last week much more enjoyable."
"I had scheduled a move with this company for late June. Spoke to the owner during reservation process. Was quoted 7am arrival, 4 guys, $200 an hour for 6 hours with travel time and a 30 min lunch break. He called the night before and said they would be an hour late. Three guys arrived at 11:15am tired and sweaty. Took them 40 minutes to park their truck up to the door on the street. He asked what was going? I responded everything, but the washer and dryer. He said no. Is that your u-haul out front? I responded yes. He said you can move whatever was left. I asked if he could take the old washer & dryer down to the curb for recycling. He took them to the front porch with one of his guys and threw them over the railing to the pavement below from the second floor. Upon arriving at the new house the next town over, I bought them lunch. After lunch they brought my belongings into the new two story house. Everything was pretty much labeled and dumped into the new place. At roughly 7pm the owner came to me to settle the bill. $1,560.70. He expected cash. When I told him I didn't have cash, he said he would have to charge me a credit card processing fee an additional $50. The final bill came to $1,610.70. Significantly higher than the original quote to move a 2 bedroom 5 room apartment. * They came unprepared and used my packing wrap & supplies and tools. * Absolutely nothing was wrapped in moving pads. * They took 8 hours to complete the job. * They broke one of my televisions by applying pressure to the screen. * They smashed the washer and dryer so badly that even the scrap guys refused to haul them away. *Ten states prohibit credit card surcharges and convenience fees: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Oklahoma and Texas.Jan 7, 2022"
"If you need movers, this is the company to hire! Rich and his team of Pete, Adam, Domenic and Nate saw my "deer in the headlights" look about moving from my home of 24 years and took the time to go through all of my rooms with me, listened to me and put everything exactly where it needed to go. These men were professional, personable and hard working. Highly recommend Provencher Van Lines!"
