"Absolutely horrible. Poor customer service, they are rude and highly unprofessional. I watched one of their mail carriers deliver my package to the wrong address in my neighborhood. Our houses are labeled appropriately. When asked, and shown the tracking number, he claimed he did not have a package for my address then blamed the post office for being unorganized and behind. How hard is it to read a house number and the address on a shipping label and put two and two together? If the address is 251, and the hour to your left has bright gold numbers above the door saying 251, why would you deliver it to the house numbered 254, which was across the street? I know that no one values their jobs anymore, but would it hurt to actually read and be professional? You call in to inquire kindly, you're met with the filthiest language and attitudes unless you let them know that they're being recorded. Then they straighten up and pretend to be kind or try to play the victim card. And that's if they even answer which 9 times out of 10, they don't. It is ridiculous."
"why doesn't anyone answer the phone at this post office? It's after 1:30, I tried calling when you opened and again now, and no one ever answers the phone. There's no excuse for this level of incompetence. I don't care what government agency you work for."
"They never answer the phone!!!! How unprofessional!!! I live to far away to have to drive down for everything. Answer the phone! It's apart of your job description. Every time I'm there you guys are not busy, how are you NEVER picking up the phone?"
"My last 2 shipments have been lost by the Dothan postal service this month! Last month my letter was returned as undeliverable so the attorney put in another envelope and put the same address on it. They have the correct address because they handled the closing of our home. Why is your service so bad? It arrives to Dothan and disappears TWICE."
"I had two packages out for delivery. Never delivered. Tracking says they’ll be delivered next business day. Several days pass. I decided to go up there to get them myself and they don’t know where my packages are! Initially the guy at the counter looked for maybe 5 minutes and said he couldn’t find them and wanted my number to call me if they find them. Unacceptable. I also brought up the fact they’ve been delivering my mail late - sometimes up to 8:30pm when the USPS website states it should by 5pm. He just told me to call their number(that they never answer) instead of trying to fix the issue. I asked to speak with the supervisor who also tried to find my packages and could not - said they may have been delivered at a wrong address as scanners weren’t working that day. When I asked how was this possible I was met with tons of excuses “short staff” (pay people more then!), too much volume, subs on routes, scanners not working .. etc. Pretty much all excuses and not really caring to take responsibility. They just shrug it off as it “just happens” and to get a refund from the business you purchased from. Seems crazy they expect other businesses to cover their mistakes."
