"Been here many times and most of the times have been pretty great. Last few times the service has been really really bad. Get seated, wait 10-15 minutes for drink order..then another 10-15 to bring your drink order..then order food..about 30 min to get your food. Hardly ever come back to check on you after the food finally comes and a real chore to flag someone down to checkout. Food was good though. Atmosphere is ok..used to be pretty good with music playing..recently no music playing..like eating in a retirement home. Willing to come back but y’all gotta get it together."
"I’m in for business and have been here two nights in a row. Absolutely delicious food! Between myself and colleagues we’ve tried different shrimp variations, steak, mac & cheese, salad and fish & chips. All have been exceptional! Servers are very nice. This place has been busy so it’s not the quickest but worth the wait with a good vibe. I plan to continue coming back each time I’m in town. The Toucans tossed shrimp appetizer is amazing!!! Try the southwest style! Bathrooms…could actually use a deep cleaning. Toilets and sinks are good but floors need a good scrubbing and dust is collecting on plumbing fixtures and trim. Please address these issues! Thanks!"
"Smells fresh, is clean. The greeter is pleasant and willing to help. Cage was an awesome server... he gave suggestion s and was patient. He has personality as well. The bourbon chicken was splendid, so too was the salmon and the fish dinner white fish as suggested by Cage. Very great options."
"The Hamburger Steak (however you like yours) is Delicious!!!! The fish and chips are also right up there!!! Everything we have tried has been very good!! Sorry I forgot about pics til we were well into our meal."
"We stopped in to enjoy a Sunday dinner with a side of lakeside sunset. There was a bit of a wait for a table outside. Once seated, our server was polite and genuinely apologetic when my soda was forgotten for an extended period of time. It appeared extraordinarily busy (and surprisingly short staffed) so we quickly ordered our appetizer and meal at the same time to avoid return trips to the table. Unfortunately, this resulted in us waiting about 45 minutes for any food AND our appetizer arriving with our dinner. We ordered an oyster app, the scallop bistro salad and the ahi tuna salad. The food that arrived was to temp (though I kind of wished the ahi tuna was served warm instead of chilled) and the portions were generous. I particularly liked that my salad was loaded with sliced almonds and the ginger dressing was delicious. The crab stuffed oysters were good, though there was quite a bit of cheese and I didn’t taste any crab. (I love cheese so this didn’t bother me). The ambience was great and the music matched the mood you’d expect from a lakeside restaurant. Overall we had a nice evening and will definitely make a return trip hopefully soon. I know they experienced unusual events that affected service. As someone who works in hospitality, I think in the future, having the staff communicate expectations and/or delays at the start of service when days like that happen could go a long way in customer understanding."
