"Driving from Jekyll island to Atlanta through back roads, it was lunch time, noticed this seafood restaurant that was packed and decided to try it out. . . Great decision!!! The menu selection offered tasty dishes, the food was very good, and service was courteous with positive attitude. The place had a traditional home feel with down to earth service!"

"My experience here was mainly due to my server. Jessica was her name. She was very professional and knowledgeable of the menu and an all around great person. Jessica is an asset to your business and is the main reason that I will be back. Very attentive. My food was fresh, hot, and served in a timely manner. The entire experience was absolutely amazing. Hang in there Jessica. Spread that Christ Light that shines brightly in you my sister."

"My only complaint is they need more staff to keep up with their customer flow. It's hard to find good workers these days so I completely understand. I love the fact they offer large or small portions. I believe the small would have been plenty bc I couldn't eat all the large. The scallops were delicious and are real scallops not the sting ray or shark fin substitute that is commonly used in the restaurant industry."

"We went to Captain Joe's with a party of about 20. The serving staff was simply amazing and took very good care of us. The food came out in a timely manner and was very delicious. My wife got the bite size shrimp and I got the fish fillet sandwich. Would recommend each of those. The salad bar came with our meal and was really good. Highly recommend the banana pudding."

"First off my wife and I have eaten here for years but the food has gotten increasingly more bland and tasteless. The quality of everything is cheap and I cannot recommend anything off the menu or the canned soup they try to pass off as their own. The service is the only good thing about this place but I'm not paying for just service I'm paying for a good meal and at the ridiculous high prices I cannot recommend eating here. I know with the economy the way it is now things are more expensive but to claim a handful of microwaved food for two people is worth over $100 is laughable. Please save your money and eat somewhere else."
