"I love this retro diner. Best burgers I have ever eaten. Their hot dogs are really good. Never eat anything there I didn't like. Very good and friendly service. Come see."
"Love this place! The antiques we were surrounded by told so many stories. The food is delish and made fresh. Definitely recommend a smash burger and the dill pasta salad. The service is amazing! Nice little hole in the wall restaurant!"
"This restaurant was a nice surprise. Time we walked in the decorations caught my eye. I love to revisit days gone by and the decor was spot on. The lady taking our order was very friendly and helpful with our decision on what to order. The food was great. Highly recommend the smash burger with smash sauce. When in or going thru Baxley I highly recommend stopping in for a bite. Will definitely be back!"
"What a wonderful treat! Very close to 5 stars. Our first time here and decided on this place because it had the best reviews in the town. Definitely not disappointed. Small town charm with a rich history. First thing I noticed was the American flag flying above the door. Nice touch. Then we were treated to a wonderful mix of aromas coming from the kitchen and maybe just a bit of history from the building if that's possible. Menu is light and easy to follow. Best places always have smaller menus to focus on their specialtys. And here it's the Smash Burgers with pimento cheese. I got mine loaded as did my wife. Was hoping for fries but they don't currently have a fryer. Hope that will change since every great Burger needs to be complimented with a satisfying helping of fries or rings. Met the owner, Sandy who was so helpful with our choices being new and all. Told us about some of the history of the building (used to be a bank) and of her mother and mother-in-law both named Wanda. How surprising. When receiving our meal it was hot and well presented. Really good burger. Loved the Mason jar style glass my delicious sweet tea came in as well. The decor was very inviting being representative of many past decades with a nice assortment of various chairs and tables that complemented the overall theme. Had there been some delicious fries with the meal I think it might have been 5 stars. Also of note is the surprise we received just after having watched a train come through. Sandy gives out a "Train Treat," to all her guests when a train comes through. Hope you visit during one of those "Train Crossings" so you can get a treat along with your meal. Quite delicious."
