Virtual Visits Available:

For your convenience, we offer virtual (telemedicine) visits for non-urgent appointments with our ophthalmologists, optometrists, and ear, nose, throat, head, and neck physicians. This service is available to patients throughout Massachusetts. Please note that insurance will be billed for these services, and copays may apply.

Mass Eye and Ear's Emergency Department (ED) Virtual Hotline:

In collaboration with Mass Eye and Ear, we provide a Virtual Hotline program for urgent eye health concerns. By calling 617-573-3880, you can speak with a nurse who will assess your situation and determine whether an in-person or virtual visit is appropriate. This service is optional, but for severe eye emergencies such as pain, vision loss, trauma, flashes, or floaters, please visit the ED, which is available 24/7.

To facilitate telehealth options, we encourage you to enroll in the Mass General Brigham Patient Gateway. This platform allows you to manage appointments and communicate with your healthcare provider efficiently.
