"Unfortunately, I had to give this place a one star rating in order to write a review. I woke early one Sunday morning to surprise my mom with some Jamaican food. I was so looking forward to dining here too. I couldn’t believe there was a Jamaican restaurant so close to my town. When I pulled up to the place it was dark. I rechecked google maps to ensure it was open, clear as day google maps read, “open.” I get out of my car, pull the door open and it looked as if the place had been shut down for some time. A few chairs, a place where a cash register looked like it might have sat and a table or two scattered about. Talk about disappointment. In that note…if they ARE in fact closed, google needs to take them off of the map."

"Absolutely fantastic. Very authentic and the service was kind. We were in a hurry so just grabbed a couple of patties and some jerk chicken to eat on the road. It was wonderful and perfectly spiced. Can't wait to try the whole menu."

"We decided to stop by this small town and check out some food. Customer Service was awesome. The food however we have some critiques. We ordered oxtails, rice n peas and cabbage. The oxtail was tender but lacked flavor, it needs a touch more seasoning and was missing a key ingredient which is the butter bean also it could have stood for more color. The rice and peas needs work… I suggest fresh kidney beans instead of can beans and also the use of herb seasonings thyme, pimento, scallions…. not sure if coconut milk was used because it tastes more like oil. The cabbage was overcooked could’ve been because it was the last of it, I personally didn’t like the seasoning on the cabbage again it was just me. We would love to come back, I just wanted to share some ideas across as our family too has been in the Jamaican food industry since I was child in NY.
