United Brothers Synagogue

Welcome to United Brothers Synagogue, a vibrant and inclusive place of worship located at 205 High Street, Bristol, Rhode Island. Established in 1900, our synagogue is steeped in history, offering a beautifully preserved, historic building where the community comes together to celebrate Jewish life. As the second oldest synagogue in Rhode Island, we are proud to be a significant landmark in the area.

Our congregation is independent and guided by an innovative spiritual leader, ensuring that our services and programs are engaging and meaningful. We warmly welcome individuals of all backgrounds, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender members, to join us in our spiritual journey.

We utilize the Reform prayerbooks, Mishkan T’Filah and Mishkan Hanefesh, to enrich our worship experiences. In addition to our services, we offer a variety of community activities, such as our weekly Mah-Jongg group, which meets every Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Players of all levels are welcome to join this lively and friendly gathering.
