Sailing Yacht Eros

"What a fantastic week I had on Eros! We cruised from St. Thomas to St. John to St. Croix and then back to St. Thomas. I got to steer the boat in a variety of wind conditions, from light cruising winds to a 25 knot breeze with probably higher gusts! She sails like a dream and feel of being on that classic boat is just amazing. My cabin was extremely comfortable and the food was absolutely outstanding! What really impressed me was the crew. They handled this huge yacht, that is run by massive, heavy gear, and made it look easy. (As I sailor, I know it’s not.) Then they would reappear on deck with a tray of specialty drinks for us to relax with! They always made us feel comfortable and kept us laughing. It was the experience of a lifetime!"

"I had the joy of sailing aboard this beautiful classic yacht in the USVI. Being allowed to take the helm on a sail from St Croix to St Thomas was a check off the bucket list. Sailing Eros was in and of itself an amazing experience. What made the time even more enjoyable was its crew. Always being positive, servicing us with constant care and smiles allowed for a very relaxing vacation. Then, as if it couldn't possibly get better, the food was actually better than I've experienced at 5-star resorts. "I did a 6-day Caribbean charter aboard this yacht and it was a pure delight. The yacht itself is gorgeous -- she has the beautiful classic lines of her 1939 heritage, and while she was recently refitted, her interior configuration remains much of the original wood and glasswork, so it feels like you've been transported back to the old world elegance of the golden age of yachting. The deck crew meticulously maintains the woodwork and everything looks picture-perfect. The interior crew is a pure joy. Chef Cassie makes impressive meals underway and at anchor - everything from delicious quiches and homemade muffins for breakfast to elegant seafood dinners and flourless chocolate cakes. Stews Aimee and Max are happy to start your day with the most awesome iced almond milk lattes you could hope for, and their cocktail creations are inspired and light - perfect for Caribbean happy hours! Both the deck and shore crew went out of their way to set us up with beautiful beach picnics for sundowners, replete with fairy lights and candles, rosé and charcuterie boards. Captain Justin is seriously skilled, holding all the coast guard credentials and ocean experience you'd want at the helm, and he and deckie Jared are always more than happy to launch a tender and arrange for any snorkeling trip, shore excursion or rip around the bay. I can't recommend this yacht enough -- it's all the personal attention and elegance you'd want on a luxury charter, but with a crew who is as welcoming as family. "Went on a day yoga retreat adventure on Eros, and it was absolutley fabulous. The crew was so professional and very accommodating! We started the day with a yoga class on the boat, and then relaxed as we sailed to our destination. Delicious vegan and vegetarian food was available (which I was very pleased with because as a vegetarian, a lot of places dont accommodate that) as well as cold beverages of choice that flowed all day! When we got to our destination we had so many options to paddleboard, swim, raft, yoga, meditate, dance, or just relax! We had a great group of people aboard and just had so much fun! It was definitley a wonderful expirience and I cant wait to sign up for one of the overnight retreats!"
