"I dont have words to describe the high esteem in which this smallish grocery store is bathed. It's just EXACTLY LIKE the huge national chain supermarkets, except in miniature. It sells every kind if item, paralleling the thesis of giant supermarkets. There are at least siz different variants of every sort of item, from boxed cerials to chocolate syrups. This store has it's own deli, offering thin-sliced Boar's Head meats and cheeses. The deli makes customized subs and sandwhiches of every imaginable permutation, adorned to order. Workers nearby literslly flock to this place to satisfy their lunchtime cravings. This store especially caters to the tastes of Hispanics, in their baked goods , their specialty cheeses, and canned hot peppers in a hundred varieties. Just as Allston is the cultural epicenter of the human race, and Allston Village is the epicenter of Allston, so is Night Star Market & Deli the epicenter of Allston Village. Over time, this tiny store gets patronized by thousands, especially tourists. Yet it is very rarely crowded. I want to recommend their deli roast beef. That stuff is otherworldly good, and they shave it razor thin for you. Utterly delectable."
