"Have rented at two different locations from them. The office people have always been rude to me but I liked Mr. Cary as he was always friendly. At least until he snitched on me for rewiring my motorcycle in my living room. I think they contract out most maintenance, but the people they use have been super friendly and fast so hope they keep using them. You can expect to be treated similarly to working with a large nationwide management company. Just don't expect to receive the local business experience. Edit: added two star just because Mr.Cary was always so pleasant, and Auburn reality deserves some credit for the maintenance. Edit: I removed two stars because one star more accurately represents my experience"

"I lived in an apartment complex owned by Auburn realty. Halfway through my lease I discovered my closet walls were beginning to be covered in black mold. It had spread to some of my clothes that were permanently damaged. I finished the back half of my lease with my clothes on the floor of my living room because Auburn Realty did nothing about it. I then did not receive my full security deposit back. I know multiple people that have had similar experiences."

"DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE !!! I’ve rented from multiple places in Auburn & this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Maintenance takes months to respond if they even do respond. If they do respond they come up with quick fix solutions that don’t fix anything. Don’t bother filling out a move in damages sheet bc it goes straight in the trash so they can rack up charges to your security deposit when you move out on things that were already damaged prior to moving in. Absolutely ROACH INFESTED and TONS of TOXIC BLACK MOLD which they claim is “just mildew” & paint over it. The paint on the walls peels off in sheets due to mold & moisture under layers of “quick fix” paint. So many more issues I can’t even begin to list. Rent from ANYWHERE ELSE but these people."

"I had a positive experience with Auburn Realty. I resided in a rental home they managed for a little more than 4 years. They managed the property well overall and were attentive to any maintenance concerns that arose. The property and leasing managers were also very kind and reasonable people. The highlight of my experience is that they didn’t attempt to confiscate my security deposit under false pretenses as seems to be customary for most landlords/management companies to do these days in my experience. I’d highly recommend checking out their available properties/rentals. You won’t be disappointed!"
