Nichiren Buddhist Sangha of Greater New England
About the Business
Welcome to the Nichiren Buddhist Sangha of Greater New England, a serene place of worship located at 76 Merrimack Street in the historic Landmark Building in downtown Haverhill, Massachusetts. Our Sangha is dedicated to practicing the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha as found in the profound Lotus Sutra.
We invite you to join our vibrant community where we hold weekly services, meditation sessions, and study classes designed to deepen your understanding and practice of Buddhism. Our practices, including the chanting of the Sutra, Shodaigyo meditation, Hokke Senbo, Reidan, and Buddhism 101 for beginners, are aimed at enhancing mindfulness, compassion, and joy in daily life.
Whether you're new to Buddhism or a seasoned practitioner, our Sangha offers a welcoming environment for all. We encourage you to visit us during our regular meeting times on Saturday mornings and other days throughout the week. For your convenience, we also broadcast our sessions via Zoom. Please check our Meetup.com page for our full calendar of events and additional details.
Experience the transformative power of Buddhist practice with us at the Nichiren Buddhist Sangha of Greater New England, where mindfulness and compassion lead to true happiness and peace. We look forward to meeting you and sharing this spiritual journey together.

Reviews
"Meditate here on a weekly basis."
"Great place to meditate and learn about buddhism and meet great people. I highly recommend coming here"
"I can't say enough good things about this temple! All of the members and friends of the temple were extremely friendly, service was wonderful, the sermon was excellent as well, and to top it off the food and conversation were ecstatic! Reverend Ryuoh Faulconer is definitely one of the most well-versed and personable priests I have ever interacted with, and his partner, Neil Yocom quite frankly pulls it all together with unbeatable hospitality. I hope that his temple continues to grow, and that Reverend Ryuoh always has a strong presence. Definitely a great place to learn the Dharma!"
