"Great walk around the lake. It takes a few hours to go around, might be faster if you are running;)"
"We did 4.75 miles in 2 hours and 10 minutes. A perfect 70 degree day, overcast with no bugs. Most of the trail is wide. Lots of poison ivy but off the sides of the trail. We saw four swans, a few frogs, some geese and ducks. Plenty of parking available near the tennis courts or Merrill Park. There were a few muddy spots but manageable and several boardwalks. Watch out for people riding bikes on some of the winding, narrow trails. There are plenty of benches but only at the beginning and end."
"This a park with a pond with ducks and geese. There is a small playground, a large grassy area with several benches. It has an on site parking lot. There are several walking trails around the pond. Dogs are welcome."
"Loved this cute place. There are different hiking paths around this place if you're in a mood to walk before getting to the actual castle. We took a quick trail that goes along the pond. Be aware that it gets a bit muddy after a rain. There is an asphalt road that you can use to get by foot or by car as well. There is a public restroom near the castle, small parking lot as well. But you can also park right by the actual park entrance with plenty of parking spots and just take a walk to the castle."
