"Nice beach for swimming and a great new play area for kids. Good fishing in some areas. Lots of trails for hiking and walking with pups. Can have sketchy people and parked cars at times but police do come thru at times. Can be busy in summer and pay to swim. Does connect with the Winnikinni Castle area."
"Great place for year round outdoor activities. Fishing in the winter if you have an auger to drill through the ice. Hiking trails all the way through to the castle, lake and beyond. Popular for all types, dog walkers or mountain bikers or casual hiking. Picnic tables and a small boat launch, great for kayaks, canoe or small boat."
"The water is great for everything. Its all clean (not the bathrooms) and peaceful even on a hot Sunday. Its for haverhill residents only (they ask for proof). They charge $2 for car. I just think there should be more swimming space."

"It's sad how much people litter here. The pond is trashed all around the shoreline. I did my best to pick up the trash that was around me but there was so much that I couldn't get everything. It's mostly food packaging, utensils and smoking supplies left on the ground. Otherwise, it's a great spot to let my dogs go for a swim."
