Reviews
"Nice woods walk. Although one of the reviewers said it cannot be traveled by off road vehicles, according to the 2018 Kingston tax map Frye road is a class 6, not private. Therefore any vehicle registered on the road, can use the road."
"Nice quiet spot for a walk"
"What a beautiful little forest!"
"The other individual who posted a review talking about how "in 1974 you could drive a car down the road and now it's Offroad vehicles only" is wrong. This is mostly town/conservation land and any Offroad vehicles (ATVs/dirt bikes) are strictly prohibited. There are signs posted all over saying "absolutely no Offroad vehicles" There is an actual road that runs through this area, albeit a 200 year old road."
"When I was in High School, we had field trips here. That was 1974 and we could still drive a car up Frye Road all the way to Johnson Road. Now it's off road vehicles or walk, but when you get to the site, it's just walk. No motor vehicles allowed on the town forest grounds. Also, digging is no longer allow in the Cellar hole or anywhere around the site. Amateur archeologists can ask me for other sites to explore. ;-)"
