He gets 5 stars too, but just want to make sure everyone knows this group has its stuff together independent of any halo effect. Best thing I can say, Encounter makes it easy to meet the REAL Jesus, not a politically slanted one. Amen to that!"

"I have been attending Encounter Church for 3 years or so now. This church is really just an incredible place to be on Sundays. It has a great atmosphere and the messages the Pastors give are helpful. They do a really good job of shedding light on how God loves us. They teach the gospel in a way that's easy to understand and follow. They have a great children's ministry my kids enjoy being a part of. They are also involved in and around our community as well, which I love. I am excited for the future at Encounter and to see the positive impact they will have in our area."

"You could not ask for a more loving and accepting environment. Being honest, religious establishments can be intimidating, off putting, pushy or very outdated in their thinking. I had been away from “church” for over 20 years for just those reasons. Then (thank you to God) a friend asked me to attend Encounter church with her. I went reluctantly and my whole life changed. Encounter opens their arm and hearts to EVERYONE. They constantly acknowledge that everyone is in a different place on their faith journey and they support everyone with no judgment or pushing. They go above and beyond to help the church members with things like childcare during the services, free financial advising seminars and financial support to families in need. Additionally, both of our Pastors, Chris and Jason, will drop everything to help anyone be it an email, a meeting or just some quick words of encouragement after service. They also give to the community hosting movie nights, egg drops and volunteering at local community days. Encounter has given me a safe place to land every Sunday. Had I grown up in Encounter church, I never would have walked away from the church."
