"We live in a small single-family house in Cambridge. We contracted with Arya Roofing to redo our roof several years ago. We liked Ten's manner, and found our interactions with him were positive. As a result of that first experience, we called on Arya Roofing again this past April to do another job: to remove our old, leaky porch floor and deteriorating railing, put down a new underlayment and add a new gutter. Ten and I set up a date for a site visit. He came, looked over the job, made some measurements, and discussed options we might consider for our new porch once Arya's underlayment job was complete. Ten's input and expertise were very helpful. I already regarded his opinion highly, along with manner and professionalism. We set a date for the work soon thereafter. His crew came on the appointed day and, in less than half a day the job that we contracted with him to do (to pull up the old porch, put down a new underlayment, and attach a new gutter) was complete (see pic # 1). They left the site clean and, as before, we had had a very positive experience working with Ten and his organization. I had already decided that I would get started on building the new porch myself once the underlayment job was complete. I recently completed work on that new porch (see pic # 2). "Right from the first meeting to talk over the work to be done, I had a "good feeling" about Ten and his crew, and the way he would do the job. Out of the several contractors I met with in order for them to give me a bid on our building's roof replacement, I got the best "vibe' from Ten because he was friendly, he explained the process and educated me about the materials, and overall, gave me the feeling that he was honest and that he would do a great job. And he also made me confident that if there was anything to be corrected in any way after the job was done, that he would take care of it! His pricing seemed very fair and reasonable (compared with 2 other bids), and when the day came that he and his crew were to do the work, the crew arrived, but a small rainstorm came through, so Ten, even though his crew was already here, called me and called off the work for that day. The rain had stopped, and I think that other contractors might have gone ahead, especially since their crew was on site, but because of safety reasons and erring on the side of caution and past experience, Ten postponed the work until Monday (from Saturday). To me, that is a good example as to "how he works" and his professionalism. He and the crew finished the work in one (long) day, and did a great job! One small little problem arose after they left, a very small amount of damage to a "paving stone", and with one phone call, Ten asked as to the replacement value and the reimbursement was sent the next day.
