About the Business
Welcome to Newburyport Skatepark, a vibrant community hub located at 70 Low Street, Newburyport, Massachusetts. Since 2001, we have been dedicated to providing a safe and exciting environment for youths and young adults to explore their passion for skateboarding. Our mission is simple: to have fun while fostering growth and encouraging the ambitions and interests of young skaters.
As a proud part of Newburyport Youth Services, Newburyport Skatepark offers a challenging yet secure space for skaters of all skill levels, from beginners to pros. Safety is our top priority, which is why helmets are mandatory for skateboarders aged 16 and under, in compliance with Massachusetts law. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Our skatepark is a product of community spirit, built through fundraising efforts and celebrated annually at our summer Skate Fest, where skaters can showcase their skills. Beyond the park, our members actively participate and volunteer at various local events, demos, and tournaments, continuously raising funds for park maintenance.
While we welcome skateboards and in-line skates, please note that bikes, roller skates, motorized vehicles, and additional obstacles like ramps or jumps are not permitted to maintain a safe environment for all.
Conveniently accessible via the MBTA Newburyport/Rockport Commuter Rail line and Route #54 of the MVRTA bus line, we also offer free parking at the nearby school.
Join us at Newburyport Skatepark for an unforgettable skateboarding experience. Whether you're learning new tricks or perfecting your skills, our park is the perfect place to pursue your skateboarding passion.

Reviews
"If you like bowls it's great, but that's all there is."
"Nice park with 3 different level bowls. There are some cool elements to work on and up to. Itβs closed while school is in session."
"decent park, however there is no street whatsoever and is in desperate need of repairs. cracks and chunks of concrete missing all over the place, mini ramp is poorly designed(one side is higher than the other and both are very steep, especially for its size) where there aren't cracks the concrete is nice and smooth. Overall a decent park, but if it had some maintenance done and a street section added it would be an outstanding park."
"It's a pretty decent sized skatepark considering its behind a middle school. Grinds nice and has a good flow bowl. Just needs to be a little bit bigger."
"Super well maintained, and super smooth concrete. 3 bowls with metal rail edges, sizing small, medium, and large. Great for families and solo skaters."
