"Zipcar serves a very real purpose, but it's really not a good company. You can never speak with someone from the US- all robots with Indian accents. They do switch reservations at last-minute, causing me to pay for an Uber. Only compensation is 30-min credit (and you have to fight for it). Their car cleaners may also move the car after you return it then accuse you of stealing the car. Granted this stuff happens maybe 10% of the time, but better customer service would really make an impact. I love the concept of Zipcar, and when it works, it works well. But that 10% combined with horrific customer service (and never being able to speak with an actual employee) is enough to drop my recommendation."
