"Surprisingly pleasant experience. Reading all the horror story reviews, was expecting the worst, but the wait was only 5 minutes, staff was friendly, and almost got the car I had reserved. (Malibu instead of a Camry) The car was reasonably clean and damage free."

"They only had EV’s available and not even with enough mileage for me to get to where I needed and back comfortably (and I was only going 90 miles RT). I had to build in extra time to charge the car, it still wasn’t enough, and couldn’t get to a working charger until it was 2 am and I was trying to get back home. I wish someone was there when I picked up the car to give me the run down because I spent way too long troubleshooting for something that should have been checked before giving me the keys. 90 degree weather that day and couldn’t run the AC because that would reduce the mileage left. The woman at the front desk was very patient and understanding considering the limited options she had to work with (plus the long line - I waited over an hour and the line was still to the door). I had reserved this weeks in advance, adequate cars should have been available."

"I got a rental car at the end of my experience, but it took a while. I'm a Preferred Avis member. I made my reservation over a month before my rental for a RAV4 or similar for my family of four, but ended up with a much smaller Kia Forte after waiting on line for forty minutes. I believe my car was given to a smaller family in front of me that did not have a pre-existing reservation. I got the last gas powered car. The electric cars they had had less than 100 miles of charge on them. I feel bad for the families behind me in line."

"The front desk person was nice and friendly but Avis totally lies about what cars are available. I reserved an electric Chevy Bolt and the ONLY vehicle they had was a gas guzzling Ford Explorer. Also, I don't see that they are following the Avis Safety Pledges on the sign (at least the ones I could observe). Maybe better to get rid of the sign if it's not feasible for that location."

"They were a little bit late opening, but it was only a few minutes. Maybe 5 minutes top, but the attendant downstairs came up to make us aware. I was able to get my car pretty quickly and painless after providing them with the necessary information. Probably less than 10 minutes. Returning the car was also super easy. If you are planning to return when they first open, then don't show up too early. I showed up a bit early and entrance to the return was still blocked off. The attendant quickly greeted me. I provided him with the keys and finalized everything upstairs. The computer system was down unfortunately, so I wasn't able to officially close out the return in real time. However, the woman at the desk said that everything is good. Definitely would rent from again."
