Reviews
"Tacos & Pupusas is the definition of a hidden gem. It is so rare to be able to get full off of (and actually enjoy) a meal for less than $10 nowadays. This was my first time trying both pupusas de pollo ($3.90) and horchata ($3.63), so I don’t know how the taste compares to other places, but I liked both (and the prices are seriously unbeatable). The pupusas tasted like a thick corn tortilla. I’m not sure if the soggy texture was due to me not eating it right away or if that is how it is supposed to be, but I think it would have tasted even better had I toasted it. I liked the curtido and salsa roja as well. The horchata was very refreshing, and the cinnamon was not overwhelming. I look forward to trying more things."
"New small locally owned takeout spot offering Mediterranean, Mexican and fried chicken. We didn’t get a chance to try the Mediterranean or fried chicken, but the Mexican food, particularly the pupusas and birria tacos were excellent, with great customer service too. Don’t let the lack of ambiance affect you, the food is absolutely worth it."
"Pupusas were off the charts! 10/10 delicious. Very fresh and oh so tasty! Staff were friendly. They also have shawarma and other Lebanese dishes. I will visit again for sure!"
"Food was good. Although I wish the fajitas came with all the fix-ins such as guacamole, sour cream etc. Birria was super cheesy and good, but could use more meat."
