"Our uncle was a merchant who sold jewelry, beads and jade on the streets of San Francisco for over 30 years. After many trips to China his house and basement became a warehouse packed with thousands of jade pieces from stones to beads to bracelets to figurines that he planned to sell in the future. He passed away before he could realize his dream of opening a store. In addition to regular household items and furniture, he had hundreds of antique masks from Mexico carved from wood and crafted from metal. The volume was astounding and we couldn't fathom how to deal with it all! That's when Kevin and The YES Co came in to save the day. Kevin assured us that his team would be able to sell almost everything in a four-day estate sale "Event". They transformed a house with chaotic boxes of inventory into a clean systematic showcase. This made it easy for customers to peruse a vast quantity of items with well-marked prices. They even brought in their own clamp lights to show off the items that were located in the garage. Kevin then conducted an aggressive marketing campaign utilizing his extensive email contacts and various media sites. He is obviously an expert on the logistics of an estate sale…there is way more to it than we had even thought of! On each day people there were large and steady crowds. We know this since we were emailed progress updates regularly with photos. Kevin's marketing strategies were amazing to say the least. Due to the huge amount of inventory the sale was extended one extra sale day to get us the maximum return from a large turnout. After the sale days he then arranged for one last leftovers sale to an individual. Kevin and his team miraculously cleared the house and we are so pleased with the financial result! "This review is for all the hard work The YES Co did regarding my relative’s house. It was “packed to the ceiling” but they still organized it for an estate sale so orderly, cleanly and quickly. It was nothing but amazing! When I first went through the premises I thought it would take me a year to get it cleared out and ready to sell. I started to lose my mind with this enormous task in front of me. Then I was introduced to Kevin “AJ” Black and company. I am so grateful as he gave me back my sanity. The fact that they were able to sell three collectors cars so quickly before working on the house was a feat in itself. This helped make room for the monumental task of dealing with all the other collectibles and clutter. After much work they made the entire house into a “a cow’s ear into a silk purse” showcase! I appreciate the hands-on type of person Kevin was while being frank and honest. He does what he says being an attribute I admire. He also kept me informed and emailed progress pictures. "The YES Co ran an absolutely smooth and successful estate sale for our family. Kevin and his team were professional from the start and the whole operation was impressive. Their extensive advertising/marketing brought in lots of buyers which resulted in a financially successful sale. First of all, their strategy in dealing with a complicated parking situation was very creative. Being a packed San Francisco house, they definitely had their job cut out. There were many heavy items – brass, cement, plaster – that needed to be moved from room to room, and floor to floor. They did it all gently and safely. My father had many interesting collections, both valuable and not so much all mixed together. With precision, they separated the sellable from non-sellable items and removed whatever they could to make room for the actual sale. Since the event occurred onsite, and due to the narrow layout of the property, it was impressive to what extent they were able to clear the house and set up all the various pieces of artwork, books, statues, furniture, musical instruments, and tools. What they did with the backyard was a “work of art” in its own right. I believe how they staged the home (and separated the sale into theme days) was instrumental in its overall success. Finally, they helped us find a hauler to remove the remaining unsellables and ultimately clean the house, making it ready for sale. Since I had to coordinate everything from Southern California, I was pleased with their regular communication, pictures, and updates on the sale and all other relevant matters. I appreciate Kevin’s demeanor, experience, and diplomacy. The YES Co performed a job well done and then some. Their company has my highest recommendation."
