"We love true food for overwhelming GF options, incorporating of seasonal flavors and overall healthy variety. For brunch we tried tuna lettuce wraps (pineapple relish is 10 out 10), chopped salad with chicken and tomato soup. The food was delicious! The service was quite slow, we waited 15 min to get some water and then another 15 for our orders to be taken although there were a lot of waiters hanging out chatting with each other and the restaurant wasn’t full. Once order was placed, the food came in quite quickly. I would recommend true food but be cautious of time if you are in a rush."
"Exceptional experience. Ordered a cup of tomato soup and a turkey burger and both were outstanding. Tomato soup was hot and flavorful, and my turkey burger was grilled perfectly. Peach lemonade paired well with all. Service was great throughout - Sawyer was kind and attentive. Highly recommend this place."
"**Awesome Time at TRUE FOOD** True Food Kitchen totally nailed it with their grass-fed burger and iced lavender matcha – both a solid 10/10! The grass-fed burger was juicy and flavorful, with top-notch beef and fresh toppings that hit the spot. And the iced lavender matcha? So refreshing and perfectly balanced between lavender and matcha flavors. Shoutout to Gerard, our server, who made the experience even better with his friendly and knowledgeable service. Overall, True Food Kitchen rocks for their delicious food and great vibes. Definitely recommend checking them out!"
"Great spot to grab a bite. Variety of vegetarian/vegan/GF options in the menu. The server was very kind. However, expect a long wait time. I ordered the vegan double cheeseburger with a side of kale salad. Beautiful ambiance."
"My family and I have eaten at True Food Kitchen restaurants in Houston and Chicago since 2015. Compared to just about every other restaurant, the ingredients are excellent. I appreciate the simple touches like the candle on the table and the quality of the paper napkin. I do not like cloth napkins for they usually are not very absorbent. I most recently ate twice in one week at this location. The organic, grass-fed-only hamburger was fair. Flavor and the amount of toppings was lacking. The gluten-free bun definitely needs to be improved. I have had much better quality gluten-free buns at other restaurants. I am not a big fan of coffee but I must say the Tuscany flavored organic coffee blend was very, very good."
