"Update: Atmosphere of the restaurant is buzzing, great vibes. The Bake and Saltfish seemed to be the most unique dish, the other being the lobster roll. However , I felt it lacked flavour (maybe that’s what the authentic dish is, I wouldn’t know). The lobster roll is next on the list."

"I’m obsessed with this place! I have severe nut, seafood, and sesame seeds allergies and am a little wary of vegan food because nuts are used as a lot of dairy substitutes. The Aunt et Uncles staff answered maybe a dozen of my allergy questions with patience, care, and accommodation. They were also so sweet with the little baby with us and gave her a water cup with a straw. I had the wildflower salad and it was divine. Sweet cauliflower topping a caramelized onion and wild rice base. It was filling and light at the same time, and I could eat this every day. My partner got the AU burger and said it was delicious. Love the community vibe and bright space. Will definitely be back whenever I’m in New York !"

"If anyone gives this beautiful and amazing restaurant less than a 5, they are haters and dont like vegan food! I had a great meal, drinks and services! We had the taco, mac n cheese, chicken sammie, french toast with bacon and omfg lawd! heaven in a bowl and plate! my god! my god! Hailing from ATL and visiting smh! Best vegan spot hands down! I loved it and cant wait to go back"

"Ants et Uncles - summer house at the Brooklyn Museum. Just a few months ago the summer house opened at the Brooklyn Museum just off to the right of the building. I've been meaning to try it and today it did and my goodness is it delicious the lobster roll is off the hook good. Really go have it Go sit in front of the museum there's a little bunch of set of chairs they have there there's also benches to sit underneath the trees and the shade look at the beautiful facade of the museum and enjoy this wonderful lunch The staff is completely cheery and helpful and welcoming and like excited to be there just a bright spot such wonderful staff I found myself staying too long talking to them cuz they was just so nice. Forgot to get a drink came back Super helpful So if you want to do some outside dining and have this same experience of the restaurant go to the Brooklyn Museum outside and find this little spot to the right it is just so fun perfect for summer Perfect name summer house Enjoy the many flowers out front as well What a beautiful space. "First time checking out this quaint vegan spot with yummy plant based options. The red peas and yam soup is very tasty along with the fish cake and the taco. Wasn’t a fan of the loaded fries. Service was great however delayed due to someone calling out sick. Love the ambiance with the nostalgic art deco decor, vintage books and cozy feel. Will definitely give them another try.
