"Had an awesome time using the Alamitos Bay AquaLink to AquaBus Pine Ave Dock 3 service! For just $5 a person, we got a fun 25-minute ride that was super practical—even with our bikes. The boat was clean and felt really safe. It’s a cool and different way to get around Long Beach and enjoy the beautiful waterfront views. A heads-up: you can only pay with cash or through their app called Long Beach Transport, which was a bit of a bother since we didn’t have either. Thankfully, a lovely couple offered to help us out, and we Venmo-ed them back. Thank you to the lady who helped us out. You can sit wherever you please on board and move around if you like. It was fun to take pictures and enjoy the ride. They sell snacks, drinks, and even alcohol on board, and there are bathrooms as well. Whether you're looking for an affordable, hassle-free way to get from Alamitos Bay to Pine Ave or just want to enjoy a scenic boat ride, definitely check it out. Highly recommend!"
"Great 1.5 hr rountrip activity. Went with my mom and 12 yr old son. Not much do do on the Alamitos side. We just get off and get back on to get back to Long Beach. Inexpensive, AMAZING experience."
"We went on the Aqualink Memorial weekend. We had already planned to go just for fun but it happened to be free, so it was a bonus! (It's free through July 4th, 2021 so take the opportunity!) It's usually $5 each way, so can imagine a small group can add up. Worth it if your looking for a nice time out on the water and looing to explore Long Beach for new perspectives. The crew was nice and they followed Covid rules. So keep in mind that for now it's first come first serve, first 40 people! No exceptions, I know of a family where one member didn't get to go because he was number 41. Enter from the Aquarium dock or enter from the Alamitos Bay dock. The boat is reasonably sized, was pretty smooth and great to be able to see the Queen Mary and Cruise ships. I also saw some sea life which was pretty cool. The boat is fairly easy to spot, it's like a yellow/orange color. There's swating/standing in the front, back and inside of the boat. It was very clean in my opinion. I think normally there are more stops and boats but we just went from Aquarium dock to Alamitos dock. Spent some time to grab a bit and then back onto the boat. The ride took about 25 or 30 minutes I believe. There are specific times rhe boat takes off from each side so pay attention to that or you may miss your boat! If you're just looking to ride one way and then back the other way, you still have to wait in line again to give other people a chance which is totally fair. So if it's nice out and you want to take a water taxi in LB or just to get out and don't feel like walking around, this is the way to go."
