Long Beach Airport

"A great airport that is fast and easy to get in, drop off, pick up, and get out. The new ticketing building is very nice. Everything is so much less stressful here than larger airports like LAX. There is more than one free cell phone waiting lot. Use these free parking lots when you are waiting because there is almost no room at the curb in front of the terminals. You've got to drop off or pick up quickly."

"Long Beach is my new favorite airport. Yes, it's small but it's quick to get in and out. Very efficient. Most of the airport is brand new and they are restoring the original historic terminal. I love that you get to go outside to board your plane, old school style. When the weather is nice, there is something about getting to board outside that gets lost using a jet bridge. The ability to hang out and have a meal outside by the fireplace is outstanding. Love Long Beach Airport!"

"Cute airport, love the semi-outdoor layout. Security is a breeze, though the baggage claim sometimes can be slow, and the pickup/dropoff line isn't bad either. Overall, super easy to travel in and out of if you're visiting the area! Bonus tip, if the coffee line is long near gates 5-11, the coffee by gate 4 is probably short."

"What a nice airport! The vibe feel like walking on a high street. It’s very chill and no-rush vibe. Food-wise: I went in the early morning but the fridges are empty. They didn’t fill it until 9:30am (3hr gap or more). My flight was also an hour delayed."

"From the light blue and white decor to the sand dune landscaping, it really captures the laidback coastal vibe of Southern California. Even though it's a smaller regional airport, they've managed to create a cute, theme-park like atmosphere that makes you feel like you're stepping onto the beach instead of an airport terminal. What I also appreciated about Long Beach Airport is how compact yet convenient it is. With only one terminal and concourses, it's easy to navigate from check-in to security to your gate without much walking. And the parking structure is literally right outside the terminal entrance. This made dropping off and picking up very quick and stress-free."
